FOGO DE CHAO

Now Ive had some good eats in my life... but never have I ever been to a restaurant like Fogo de Chao. From their excellent service to intense and wide selections of wine. Fogo de Chao is sure to please any and everyone that they serve. Of course service like this comes with a price. Fogo de Chao is a 5-star restaurant and will run you about 225$ if your having dinner for two, half a bottle of wine, and include the tip. I didn't mind the bill because for starters this experience is an ENDLESS BUFFET starting at only 50$ a head!! Recession WHO?!

... you are seated by a waiter that never forgets your name. He invites you to the salad bar which has to be the hugest salad bar ive ever seen. The possiblities are endless and i loooove salad. Then once you are finish your waiter returns to your table to bring traditional side dishes of warm cheese bread, fried bananas, crispy hot polenta and seasoned mashed potatoes which are automatically brought to each table and replenished throughout the meal.. Then almost immediately... the Gaucho chefs come out to playyyy and/or serve you. What are they serving... MEAT! Its a friicken brazilian steakhouse and the portions are ENDLESS... whats with this endless shit you ask:
Each guest uses a two-sided disk to control the pace of their meal. The green side signals the Gaucho chefs to bring out skewers of sizzling fire-roasted meats to carve at the table. The red side indicates a stopping point. Turning back to green lets the Gaucho chefs know to start offering the meats again.

The Food: The lunch and dinner menu features unlimited servings of 15 different delectable cuts of fire-roasted meats!! Umm yea... 15teeeennn!! I wana say I tried all 15 and all 15 are to die for... if your a meat lover like me! Dont be discouraged if you are one of those "i dont do swine" people... chicken and beef run by the plenty over at Fogo de Chao! I kept my disk thingy on GREEN until my plate was full and flipped it on red no earlier than that...lol.


What else make is endless (as if it could get any better?!):
Everyone over at Fogo de Chao operates by a particular service concept of espeto corrido, which translates from Portuguese as "continuous service". This means, you dont ask for a refill.. they will see and bring it to you, your side dishes never get cold because they are replenshing your dish and/or bringing out a new one the moment your ish even starts to look a little on the chilled side.... i actually had a waitress come by and rearrange the side of me in which my wine glass sat. She said she would like for me to have more elbow room so that I could enjoy this experience fully relaxed and comfortable. Can we sayyy.. ChikA ChiKa YEaHhYaHHH!!

This seminal R&B trio was the first group to sport the new jack swing sound, essentially traditional soul vocals melded to hip-hop beats, with credit for the genre's invention going to founder, multi-instrumentalist, and super-producer Teddy Riley. Riley formed his first band, Wreckx-N-Effect, while still a teenager, with brothers Markell Riley and Brandon Mitchell; Guy followed a few years later in 1987. Its first incarnation featured vocalists Aaron Hall and Timmy Gatling. Their self-titled debut album was an instant smash, producing the R&B hits "I Like," "Groove Me," "Spend the Night," and "Teddy's Jam." Meanwhile, Riley found himself in strong demand as a songwriter and producer; in 1988, Riley produced Bobby Brown's Don't Be Cruel, the album that helped new jack swing cross over into the pop mainstream. Riley has also worked with Kool Moe Dee, Michael Jackson (Dangerous), Stevie Wonder, Keith Sweat, Jane Child, and SWV, among others. In between albums, Guy contributed songs to the soundtracks of Do the Right Thing and New Jack City.
By 1989, Guy was in turmoil; Riley's brother Brandon Mitchell was killed in a shooting, and the group became involved in an acrimonious split with manager Gene Griffin over money. 1990's The Future featured Hall's brother, Albert Damion Hall, in place of Gatling and spawned R&B hits in "Let's Chill," "Do Me Right," "D-O-G Me Out," and "Long Gone." However, by the time Riley and Guy finally started to attract media attention for their innovative and influential work, the trio had broken up. Riley concentrated on his production and songwriting career for several years before forming the band Blackstreet with vocalists Chauncey "Black" Hannibal, Dave Hollister, and Levi Little. The quartet released a self-titled debut in 1994. Aaron Hall released his solo debut, The Truth, in 1993; brother Damion followed in 1994 with Straight to the Point. This guy didnt appear to be drunk at all. He was sooo stern on preaching to everyone that now that Barack is in office... all the women of the world will be homeless. He also vents towards the caucasion community about hating on Barack.. oh excuse me "Hussain Obama Barack" as he called him... lol.. Man... classic comedy at its rarest.

Okay, I have a best friend that is expecting and she's approaching her 8th month. Last week we all went out to eat at Olive Garden and I overheard her boyfriend call her "Bigga Draws"... he said this with a jamaican accent.. although he's guala mixed.. so that made it even funnier. She cant stand that name but in any case she will laugh it off. My friends are light hearted! So anywhoot.. the point of this intro is to ask a more serious question...

to my fellas: Do you care what type of underwear your wife/girlfriend/baby momma wears once she gains the baby weight?

....and ladies: Would you still sexy up your under-britches once you add that 40, 50-100lbs of baby weight (or excessive eating weight)??

I dunno my answer... but i do plan to have kids one day and ummm... i dont think i'll mind being called "BIGGA DRAWS".... dat just means shawty gat a fatty... and ummm ive been waiting my whole life for one of those.

Inauguration Weekend!!!! Whooot!!!

Yess we cannnn!!! I say i say, yesss weee cannn!!!

The 44th President of the United States is Barack Obama!!! ...and im live and in DC for all the action.

So this year i didnt really think that i was going to participate in all of the action going on. However, with this weekend being SUCH a historical moment and time in history, HOW CAN I?!! The Hip Hop Inaugural Ball went down in DC hosted by Russell Simmons and it was indeed awesome. I bumped elbows with TI, tried to understand a joke by none other than Dick Gregory, chatted about an ignorant guest with Fonzworth Bentley, and took fliks & shared a toast with those doing the most....

and i loved every minute of it.

Let me just say that BJ Coleman is the greatest latest lovebug ever! Fabulous just cant define....

So the recap:

Diana (my model friend) and I met up around 6ish to hit up this party; as we were invited by Kenny Flanagan of KAS Collections and scheduled to arrive by 7pm.

My dress was provided by KAS Collections Inc. by the way! Got there in time...after ridiculous traffic....

Out of towners like THISSS thought it was cute to drive into intersections and fukk up the flow of traffic!!!! Thank God i wasnt driving!

The ceremony started with a speech from a guy that works for Obama.... kicking myself cuz i cant remember his name. However, i recorded the speech.. damn video wont load..sorry about that.

NONETHELESS....

I felt so inspired... Well to make a long story longer.. TI, MC Lyte, LL Cool J, Jeezy, & Bow Wow all received awards for being humanitarians of Hip Hop awards. That was awesome... after the ceremony we danced, toasted and roasted amongst the stars. Next stop... after partyin at the Infamous LOVE nightclub. My girl Fantasia was there to celebrate her Bday! Happy Birthday Fantasia!!!
So its approaching 3am so we had to make moves... valet' parking? yes please. Entrance fee? no thanks. VIP? duh!! and then the night was on....
